How every listed cleaner is vetted
No cleaner is listed on Helpling without passing platform-level checks first. Every cleaner clears a legal-status verification, a criminal-record check, and a practical skills test before they can accept any booking.
Once listed, cleaners are monitored through customer feedback. Concerns raised to Home Advisors feed into a cleaner's standing on the platform.
The Prestige satisfaction guarantee
Helpling Prestige bookings are backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If a Prestige clean is not right, you can choose a free re-clean within 5 business days of the original booking, or full credit to your Helpling account.
The guarantee applies to Prestige bookings made and paid through the Helpling app. Standard bookings are covered by platform vetting and Home Advisor support, but not the Prestige satisfaction guarantee.
Cashless, in-app payment
Booking and paying through Helpling is what keeps your session covered by platform support. Cleaners are paid through the platform — not by you in person.
Side arrangements made outside the app, including cash payments or direct booking with a cleaner, sit outside Helpling support. Home Advisors cannot act on bookings that were not made through the platform.
